2024 Remarkable Women nominees meet at KOIN 6
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Since 2020, KOIN 6 has been sharing stories of remarkable women in our community and many of those women got a chance to meet each other Friday afternoon.
KOIN 6 hosted more than a dozen remarkable women nominees as they took a tour of the station and met with many members of our staff.
Lisa Schroeder of Mother’s Bistro is our Remarkable Woman for 2024.
“I just want to say how thankful I am to KOIN and Nexstar Media for honoring us women who really do what we do for no accolades or no ‘thank you’s,’ but do it because it needs to be done,” she said. “And they’re amazing women and it’s an amazing station for recognizing us. So thank you for that.”
They all gathered for a luncheon and spent the afternoon sharing their stories and getting to know one another.
