Promposals have become a big thing (I mean, there was even a show on MTV about them). While just verbally asking your date is still ok, bae is probably secretly hoping for an Instagram-worthy moment that includes a custom sign, flowers, and a costume (at the very least). That's a lot of pressure.

You could spend hours sifting through Pinterest ideas, but just FYI, everyone else at your school probably will be doing the exact same thing. And if there's one thing worse than doing a lame promposal, it's doing the same one as someone else. Yeah, you don't want to be that person. Pull off an ask that's super special by taking inspo from these inventive, real-life promposals.

Picnics are *extra* romantic when you throw in a promposal.
