21-year-old Shelby man killed in Catawba County shooting: Sheriff
CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A 21-year-old man was killed in a shooting this week in Catawba County, according to the sheriff’s office.
The deadly shooting happened along Dublin Drive. As deputies arrived at the scene, they found Isaiah Johnson, 21, of Shelby, who had been shot. His family has been notified of his death.

Investigators are not releasing additional information at this time as they consult with the District Attorney, the sheriff’s office explained.
No charges have been filed yet in this case.
