21st anniversary of 9/11: Commemoration planned at State House in Boston

This Sunday marks the 21st anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks and a number of memorial events are planned for Massachusetts.

The Massachusetts 9/11 Fund will host the state’s annual commemoration at the State House to pay tribute to the victims, 206 of whom were either residents of the Bay State or had ties to the area.

Gov. Charlie Baker will be presiding over the event. Boston Mayor Michelle Wu will later lead a wreathe-laying ceremony at the Boston Public Garden.
