23 breweries, wineries and distilleries to participate in Ozarks Craft Beverage Tour

The annual Ozarks Tap and Pour Craft Beverage Tour kicks off on Thursday with 23 Ozarks breweries, wineries and distilleries participating.

The Ozarks Tap and Pour Craft Beverage Tour is a free, self-guided tour encouraging Ozarks residents to support and explore local businesses for a full calendar year.

Each visit to a business on the tour list counts as a check-in and so many check-ins result in prizes. Participants receive 10 points per Springfield business check-in and 20 points per check-in at a business more than 10 miles from Springfield. Participants who reach 150 points will receive a free Ozarks Tap and Pour Craft Beverage Tour t-shirt. Participants must visit at least one brewery, winery and distillery to receive the t-shirt.

New this year is the addition of scratch-off cards available at each participating business. Participants who check in at a business will receive the appropriate points and a scratch-off card, which may include a piece of business trivia or a prize. Four prizes of $500 and 10 prizes of $100 will be available via scratch-off cards throughout the tour, according to a news release. Only 5,000 scratch-off cards are being printed for this year's tour.
