A 23-year-old man died after crashing a vehicle into a Milwaukee home Sunday morning, according to the Milwaukee Police Department.

The man was identified Monday as Latrone T. White by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office.

Around 10 a.m. Sunday, two vehicles, one driven by a 23-year-old man and the other by a 44-year-old man, were possibly racing southbound on North 60th Street, according to police and a report from the medical examiner's office.

A third vehicle traveling north was attempting to turn left at the intersection of 60th Street and Capitol Drive.

To avoid hitting that vehicle, White swerved, then lost control and crashed into a residence in the 4000 block of N. 60th Street, police said. He died at the scene.

The 23-year-old was the sole occupant of that vehicle, and the house was vacant at the time of the incident, the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office said.
