ENJOY OUTDOORS AT CORKSCREW SWAMP SANCTUARY
Guided tours at Aububon’s Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary: There’s many ways to enjoy the outdoors this summer. The Blair Audubon Center, 375 Sanctuary Road, Naples, is open daily at 8 a.m. with the last admission at 3 p.m. Cost is $17 for adults, $6 for kids 6-14, and free for kids 5 and younger and for Corkscrew members. Early Birding Walk: 8-11 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, July 11, Aug. 22, Sept. 19 and Sept. 26, experience sights and sounds of the awakening swamp with a naturalist guiding guests on boardwalk. Learn tips on identification, about the birds' habits and importance of the native upland and freshwater wetland plants and habitats that occur at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary. Cost $30 per person (nonmembers).
Members-Only Early Admission Days: 7-8 a.m. Saturday, June 10, 17 and 24, members can enjoy Sanctuary early. Admission included with membership.
Corkscrew Butterfly Identification Workshop and Walk: 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday, June 26, learn about local butterflies and their host plants and how to identify commonly seen species. Sunset Stroll: 6:30-9 p.m. Thursday, June 28, naturalist-guided boardwalk tour leads you into the swamp as the day draws to a close. Watch the sun set from the Observation Tower, and as twilight approaches, listen to the changes in sounds as the day becomes night. $40

FRIDA KAHLO AMONG ART, PHOTO EXHIBITS
Frida Kahlo exhibit: The newest exhibit at Naples Art, 585 Park St., Naples. "Miradas de Mujeres: Isabelle de Borchgrave and the World of Frida Kahlo" honors a conversation between two women who have never met: Borchgrave, a Belgian artist and sculptor known for her colorful paintings and intricately painted paper sculptures, and Kahlo, a Mexican painter known for her many portraits. Both artists shared a love of fabric, patterns and colors. The exhibit offers De Borchgrave's view of Kahlo's world constructed entirely of paper. Tickets cost $20 and must be purchased in advance. Frida and Her Garden: Exhibit that runs through Sept. 10 explores the influence of home and nature to Frida Kahlo's work. The exhibit at Naples Botanical Garden, 4820 Bayshore Drive, Naples, re-created portions of La Casa Azul (the Blue House), Kahlo's residence in Mexico City’s Coyoacán borough, and the expansive garden surrounding it. Three Degrees of Separation: Artistic Connections in the Permanent Collection: New exhibit runs through fall 2023 on first floor of The Baker Museum, 5833 Pelican Bay Blvd., Naples. Exhibition unites range of works from the museum’s permanent collection in a new interpretation to tell the story of artistic connections in the Americas between 1907 and 1968. PALM COTTAGE TOURS IN NAPLES
Palm Cottage: The oldest house in Naples is reopening. Self-guided tours resumed in early April, with docents on hand to answer questions. No RSVP needed.
