26-year-old Bronx shooting victim found dead in passenger seat of car

The body of a 26-year-old shooting victim was discovered in the passenger seat of a car in the Bronx on Monday, police said.

The victim was found in a Honda CRV on Union Ave. near E. 168th St. in Morrisania around 2:20 p.m., according to cops.

He was shot in the abdomen and was declared dead at the scene.

Police later determined the victim was blasted about a half mile away, on E. 163rd St. near Reverend James Polite Ave. in Longwood.

Someone then drove the mortally wounded man to where his body was left, cops said.

His name was not released as police worked to track down his family.

There were no immediate arrests.
