A motorcycle crash killed a 26-year-old man in Phoenix on  Tuesday morning.

Phoenix police officers responded to a report of a car collision near North 43rd and West Olive avenues around 10 a.m., according to a statement from Sgt. Vincent Cole.

A motorcycle and a pickup truck had crashed into each other. The driver of the motorcycle, David Hand, died from his injuries at the scene.

The driver of the pickup truck, who wasn't identified in the statement, received minor injuries. The investigation was ongoing, Cole said.
