Planning your next night out? These 26 new restaurants would like to bid for your attention.

New concepts spanning across the culinary map opened in July, from the region’s first Uzbek restaurant to Chinese hot pot in Little Saigon and a sushi successor in Carmichael.

Roseville and Elk Grove added four new restaurants apiece, while Carmichael added two. Rocklin, Loomis, Granite Bay, Citrus Heights and Folsom gained one new concept each.

  • Caravan Uzbek Cuisine (7800 Sunrise Blvd., Suite 11, Citrus Heights): Greater Sacramento’s first Uzbek restaurant began as a food truck; now it serves shawarma and pilaf from a brick-and-mortar location that opened July 16.

  • Divina Colombian Cafe (6201 Franklin Blvd., Sacramento): This south Sacramento cafe exclusively serves Colombian coffee with bites such as arepas, empanadas and cauliflower ceviche.
