27-year-old man shot to death in Portsmouth

A 27-year-old man was fatally shot Thursday night in Portsmouth.

Portsmouth police were called to the 100 block of Shea Street, off of Portsmouth Blvd., around 9:30 p.m. for a report of a gunshot wound. At the scene, officers found Charles Lovell Mosley had been shot.

Medics rendered aid, but Mosley died from his injury, police said.

Police have not released further information.
