3 arrested after 24-year-old fatally shot in North St. Paul

Police on Wednesday identified a man fatally shot in North St. Paul as a 24-year-old and said three people are under arrest.

Officers responded to an apartment complex in the 2100 block of McKnight Road shortly after 6 p.m. Monday on a report of a disturbance where a weapon was mentioned, according to police. Police found Anthony R. Rojas dead in an apartment.

“This tragic homicide appears to be a targeted act,” police said in a Wednesday statement.

Police arrested a 19-year-old woman on suspicion of murder, and a 19-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman on suspicion of possession of a firearm with an altered serial number. The man is also jailed on suspicion of aiding an offender to avoid arrest.

The Ramsey County attorney’s office is reviewing the case for charges.
