Fire officials said they responded to calls at approximately 11:20 p.m. to the 2200 block of Miramar Street in San Leandro for a three-story apartment fire.

Despite initially being labeled as a one-alarm fire, “due to the fire’s complexity,” fire officials said a second alarm was called for staging.

One patient was transported to a local hospital for respiratory issues, and three residents were displaced, fire officials said. There were no injuries to firefighters.
