3 injured, 1 critically, in Newport News shooting

Three men were injured in a shooting Sunday night, and at least one had life-threatening injuries.

Police responded at 8:25 p.m. to reports of shots fired on the 3000 block of Roanoke Avenue, in the Washington neighborhood. They located two men who had been shot. One had a life-threatening injury. Both were transported to a hospital. Another man went to the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Police didn’t have updated information about the victims’ conditions Monday morning.
