3 injured, Amazon truck overturned in crash with Mercedes that snarls Lodi traffic

Three people were injured in a vehicle crash involving an Amazon truck and a gray Mercedes sedan on East Harney Lane and Lower Sacramento Road, Lodi at about 2:40 p.m. Thursday.

The driver of the truck and the driver and passenger in the sedan suffered mild to moderate injuries and were transported to an area hospital.

On Highway 12: 4 dead, 6 hurt in major head-on Rio Vista crash

Traffic was congested in the area as rescue crews worked to clear the scene.

The cause of the crash is unclear and is under investigation, CHP Sgt. Sarah Joyner said.
