3 men injured in Northern California Sikh temple shooting

Three people have been hospitalized following a shooting at a Sikh temple in Northern California.

Three Sikh men — ages 27, 28 and 32 — were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a shooting occurred at the Sikh Gurdwara Sahib temple in Stockton at around 6:42 p.m. on Aug. 27, according to Stockton police spokesperson Joseph Silva.

“A disturbance broke out between the suspects and victims which resulted in an exchange of gunfire,” Silva reportedly said.

Two male suspects, who are also believed to be Sikh, remain at large.

Police have not released any other information on the shooters nor details on the shooting.
