3 Minneapolis Police Officers Injured In 2 Separate Incidents Overnight

- In two other incidents last night, three Minneapolis police officers were injured and had to go to the hospital around 1:00 AM near Lagoon and Hennepin in Uptown. Police responded because people were racing their cars. Police said rocks and other items were thrown at them. Two officers went to HCMC.

Then an hour later downtown, extra police were called in after fights and a stabbing were reported near 5th and Hennepin. Officers broke up the scuffles when more fights broke out and violence was aimed at police. One officer suffered a head wound and was transported to HCMC. All three injured officers were treated and released.
