3 people arrested, charged in the 2022 death of Swisshome man near Noti

The Lane County Sheriff's Department has arrested three people on charges related to the death of Sean Lee Wilkins, 37, of Swisshome following a yearlong investigation.

A hunter found Wilkins dead Nov. 20, 2022, in the woods northwest of Noti off Wacker Point Road, also known as BLM 17-7-22 Road.

On Monday, a search warrant was served in the Noti area and three people were arrested and then arraigned on Tuesday.

Timothy Bryce Shafer, 23, was arraigned on one charge of second-degree murder for Wilkin's death. Timothy Leon Shafer, 54, was arraigned on a single count of abuse of a corpse in the second degree and one count of hindering prosecution.

Ana Maria Teresa Glica, 47, was arraigned on one count of hindering prosecution.

"The Lane County Sheriff's Office detectives worked diligently on finding any leads on the case," Lane County Sheriff's Lt. Ryan Wells said in a press release.

"With help from community members' tips and hard work from the detectives they were able to gather probable cause on the murder suspects," Wells said
