3 people found dead Monday in Old Louisville house

Three men were found dead in a house in Old Louisville on Monday afternoon, according to police.

Authorities said it wasn't clear what had occurred but that a death investigation is underway. More information is expected to be available after autopsies, LMPD Officer Beth Ruoff said.

Police were called to the address in the 1100 block of South Third Street just before 3 p.m., she said.

The three individuals who died were identified Thursday by the Jefferson County Coroner's Office as Larry Glenn Marsee and Barry Lynn Marsee, both 58, along with Joshua Ryan Beach, age 38. The men lived in the home, according to the Deputy Coroner Sam Rogers, and were pronounced dead Monday at 3:04 p.m.

The cause and manner of the deaths was not listed in the coroner's release, as autopsy and toxicology results were still under investigation.
