Modern dance celebration in Downtown Lake Worth Beach

Fans of modern dance won’t want to miss one of Palm Beach County’s most celebrated companies, Demetrius Klein Dance Company, presenting a special retrospective performance of their work this Saturday night at the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County in Downtown Lake Worth Beach. This landmark performance will kick off the Council’s Summer Performing Arts Series, which offers three additional shows by some of Palm Beach County’s most talented performing arts groups through Aug. 20.

Summer Performing Arts Series: Demetrius Klein Dance Company: Saturday. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., performance starts at 6 p.m. Please be advised that a portion of the show contains strong language not appropriate for children. Improv show in West Palm Beach

There’s a unique, participatory joy that can only be enjoyed as part of a live, improvisational theatre show. Bob Carter’s Actor’s Workshop & Repertory Co. will open its door to the public this Saturday night for its monthly “Improv Show,” where the talented cast members use audience suggestions to create a night of hilarious fun, just for you!
