Kaleidoscope of kinetic art in Boynton Beach

We usually associate art exhibitions with terms such as “steady,” “quiet” or “still” — but that doesn’t always have to be true. Every two years, the City of Boynton Beach celebrates the art of movement with its International Kinetic Biennial. The event, which brings world-class artists to downtown Boynton Beach, commences this weekend and includes both indoor and outdoor exhibitions, interactive installations, community projects and tons more to do. This is a can’t-miss event, so bring the whole family and let the kinetic art “move” you!

2023 International Kinetic Biennial: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Downtown Boynton, along E. Ocean Avenue from Northeast 1st St. to Federal Highway. Info: 561-742-6026 or boynton-beach.org/kinetic.

The two have combined their efforts to create a new exhibition now on display at Lighthouse ArtCenter Gallery, titled “Like Mind,” which in combination presents their distinct styles and fascinating chemistry all at once. Go and see it soon!
