Last chance to see artistic exploration of the Holocaust on display

For equal doses of Holocaust-related history and art this weekend, you can visit the Armory Art Center as it hosts “A Legacy of Remembrance” spotlighting work by artist Mark Cohen. The show specifically focuses on antisemitism, genocide and the psychological horrors brought on by war criminal Commandant Amon Göth (to women, especially) within the Kraków-Płaszów concentration camp during World War II. See this impactful exhibition before it’s gone!

Stroller Daze at the Cox Science Center & Aquarium

For parents with young children seeking something fun to do this week — it’s time to get the strollers out and head to Cox Science Center & Aquarium for its “Stroller Daze” event! Throughout the day, you and your little ones can enjoy live science demonstrations, cool off in the backyard splash pad, see a planetarium show and even tee off for a round of mini-golf at the center’s Conservation Course. Enjoy!

Any plans this Friday night? Grab a friend and head to the Norton’s Art After Dark for an exciting evening of art, music, and fun! During the night, Lake Worth Beach artist Jill Lavetsky will lead a tour of the Norton’s collection discussing works by Joaquin Sorolla y Bastida, Pablo Picasso, and other Spanish artists; teaching artist Eva Lia Pedriglieri will host an open studio and create a piece inspired by Bastida; and Miami-based Latin jazz fusion and flamenco group Mestizas will perform live!
