Science meets symphony in Palm Beach Gardens

A mutual respect for definition, form and experimentation are just a few reasons why music and science make for an excellent pair. That’s the idea behind the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience’s Science Meets Music, a series of lectures bookended by musical performances. This Wednesday’s lecture is “The Symphony in the Brain” by Dr. Hidehiko Inagaki, a research group leader at the institute. He will be joined by cellist Jordan Anderson and pianist Ryohei Yasuda at The Benjamin Upper School in Palm Beach Gardens.

Science Meets Music, “The Symphony in the Brain”: 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 15. Seating is limited; reservations are required at www.mpfi.org or 561-972-9027. The Benjamin Upper School, 4875 Grandiflora Road, Palm Beach Gardens.
