3 stabbed at restaurant on Lynnhaven Road in Virginia Beach

Three people were stabbed early Sunday morning at Tequilas Restaurant on Lynnhaven Road in Virginia Beach.

Sentara Princess Anne Hospital called dispatchers to report the three victims had walked into the hospital at 2:07 a.m., according to a police release.

Police said the suspect — Valente Elia Sanchez — knows the victims but detectives did not release the nature of their relationship.

According to the release, the stabbing stemmed from an argument earlier in the day.

Police have warrants on file for Sanchez for three counts of malicious assault and one count of simple assault.
