3 students injured from Iredell County school bus crash

IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Three students were sent to the hospital Friday evening after a school bus was involved in a crash on U.S. 70 in eastern Iredell County.

According to Iredell-Statesville Schools, the crash happened around 4:15 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 70 and Knox Farm Road. The bus was carrying a total of 16 students from Third Creek Middle School.

Man charged with DWI in hit-and-run involving CMS school bus: Police

This is the fourth crash involving a school bus in the Charlotte metro area this week. Two were in northern Mecklenburg County, and another in Rowan County.
