UPDATE: 4th suspect arrested in Sweetwater murder investigation
SWEETWATER, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A fourth suspect has been arrested during a murder investigation in Sweetwater.
Shelby Chase Kirkland was arrested Thursday on warrants for Murder, Tampering with a Corpse, and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.
Francisco Martinez “Speedy” Gonzales and Jose Luis Mireles were also taken into custody on warrants for Murder, Tampering with a Corpse, and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, and Scott Lee Garza has been taken into custody on warrants for Tampering with a Corpse, and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.
All charges are connected to the death of Chasity Nelson, who was found dead inside a home on the 500 block of Elm Street January 26.
