3 teens wounded in school stabbing spree released
MURRYSVILLE, Pa. (AP) — Three students wounded in the stabbing spree at a Pittsburgh-area high school have been released from the hospital.
Hospital officials say the teens were released Friday.
One 15-year-old and two 16-year-olds remain in critical condition at Forbes Regional Hospital. A 17-year-old is in critical condition at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. A fifth student is hospitalized in fair condition.
The teens were among the 21 students stabbed or slashed at Franklin Regional High School on Wednesday. A security guard was also wounded.
A 16-year-old classmate faces charges including four counts of attempted homicide and 21 counts of aggravated assault. Police said Friday they don't yet have a motive for the rampage.
