3-vehicle crash in Fairborn sends all drivers to local hospital

Three vehicles crashed in Greene County early Tuesday morning.

Greene County Sheriff’s Office and Fairborn crews responded to the intersection of state Route 235 and West Hyde Road at around 6:40 a.m. after receiving reports of a three vehicle crash, sheriff’s office dispatch confirmed.

Initial reports on emergency scanners stated that a person was trapped inside their vehicle; however, crews at the scene later corrected reports stating that the person was choosing to remain in their car, dispatch stated.

All three drivers were transported to Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek for minor injuries, the Dayton post of Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed.

News Center 7 crews went to the scene and reported that state Route 235 was closed due to the crash.
