30 Browns draft prospects in 30 days: Dorian Williams, LB, Tulane

Defensive leader Anthony Walker Jr. has re-signed in Cleveland but the Browns do not have a long-term starter under contract at linebacker. If the team looks to add in the 2023 NFL Draft they could look at Tulane’s Dorian Williams, who plays with his hair on fire and with a great motor that plays through the whistle on every snap.

Williams has great sideline-to-sideline speed and can cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time. This past season Williams finished with 132 tackles with 8.5 of those coming behind the line of scrimmage. He also provides a decent ability as a pass rusher in blitz situations tallying five sacks last season for Tulane.

A player that also has a good resume on special teams Williams could find a role immediately with the Browns. Sitting behind Anthony Walker for a season and being able to learn could set him up for success. The team needs a reliable tackler in the run game with some coverage skills as well and that is exactly what you get with Dorian Williams.
