The Westlake Industrial Park will soon have two new sizable additions.

One 419,280-square-foot building and another at 270,716 square feet are slated to be erected at the 1317 Pritchard Road complex, according to permits approved by the Jacksonville Building Inspection Division.

The structures are likely to contain warehouse space for the owner of the complex, Westlake 24 Industrial Venture. The combined cost is estimated to be $30 million.

Becknell Services LLC is the contractor.

UF Health to renovate energy plant

UF Health Jacksonville is scheduled to renovate a portion of its central energy plant for its downtown hospital.

The permits for the upgrades that will cover 37,841 square feet were approved by city building officials in March.

The hospital’s project will cost $15 million. Stellar Group Inc. is the contractor.
