30 of the World’s strongest men will compete in Myrtle Beach. A vehicle pull will happen.

Thirty of the world’s top strongmen will face off in a battle of strength when the SBD World’s Strongest Man competition comes to Myrtle Beach.

In 1977, the question was asked. Who is the World’s Strongest Man? Since then in it’s 46th year, this championship has had the final answer to this question, who is the strongest of them all?

These athletes bring nothing but their best in their quest for the title as the next World’s Strongest Man. Thirty of the world’s strongest men will fight for the most prestigious trophy in strength sports.

Who will take the trophy home? Come on out and watch this event.

In partnership with Visit Myrtle Beach, there will be a fan festival area with food trucks and giveaways as well as a special sensory room hosted by KultureCity for families and individuals who have sensory needs or non-visible disabilities.

A VIP experience is also available for purchase, offering access to a premium viewing area of the competition, all-inclusive food and drink, and meet and greets with past and present legends of the sport. Individual day tickets are still available for $350 on qualifying days. Tickets can be purchased at World’s Strongest Man 2023 Registration. No tickets will be sold on-site.

Competitors will be pushed to their physical and mental limits throughout an epic series of events, including the return of Fingal’s Fingers, a fan-favorite event that revolves around a series of hinged poles – or fingers – being lifted, starting from a horizontal resting position and flipped over to the other side. The poles get progressively heavier and longer as the event progresses.

New this year is the Max Dumbbell, where a new world record is expected to be set. This dumbbell event, which has never been attempted at WSM before, tests each competitor with increasing weight in one hand each round until the last competitor is left standing.

Athletes slated to compete include two-time World’s Strongest Man reigning champion, Tom Stoltman (Scotland), who will look to defend his title against his older brother and 2021 European World’s Strongest Man Luke Stoltman (Scotland), 2020 SBD World’s Strongest Man champion Oleksii Novikov (Ukraine) and four-time World’s Strongest Man champion Brian Shaw (Fort Lupton, Colorado, USA), who is set to retire from World’s Strongest Man following this year’s competition, among several others.
