31 students named to Cornell honor roll for first quarter

CORNELL — There were 31 students named to the first quarter honor roll at Cornell Grade School. There was a tie for which class had the most as the fifth grade and six grade classes each had nine, edging seventh grade and its eight students.

Earning high honor roll recognition in fifth grade were Tavyn Anderson, Brody Cool, Charlee Hart, Landon Lyons, Leah Smith, Hannah Stipp and Rylan Stipp.

Named to the honor roll were Alex Cooper and Ryleigh Eggenberger.

In sixth grade, the high honor recipients were Kennedy Fortner, Leah Hansen, Abigail Rients and Brianna Schumm. Honor roll students were Marshal Anderson, Owen Hart, Donovan McDonald, Payton Pellitier and Elizabeth Severins.

Jayden Ryerson and Jacob Thorson were seventh graders named to the honor roll. The high honor roll students included Abbigal Armstrong, Brooklyn Delheimer, Maddie Freeman, Brady Hart, Cody Pinkerton and Billie Jo Shehorn.

Four eighth graders were high honor roll recipients as Alex Hansen, Bridget Hansen, Brianna Stipp and Ashton Sugars were named. Mia Retoff was named to the honor roll.
