32-year-old Bradenton man dies in motorcycle crash with SUV, Florida troopers say
A 32-year-old Bradenton man has died after a crash with an SUV, Florida Highway Patrol said Saturday.
It happened at about 1:05 p.m. at the intersection of 1st Street East, also known as U.S. 41, and 33rd Avenue East.
The motorcycle was going north on U.S. 41 in the right lane, and the SUV was going south in the left turn lane, both approaching the intersection of 33rd Avenue East.
The SUV began to turn left as the motorcycle entered the intersection they collided, sending the motorcycle into a fence.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by Manatee County EMS.
The Florida Highway Patrol Traffic Homicide Unit continues to investigate the crash.
