33rd annual Smyrna Spring Jonquil Festival is April 23-24

Mar. 14—The Smyrna Spring Jonquil Festival, presented by Superior Plumbing, will be April 23 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and April 24 from noon to 5 p.m. in and around City Hall and the Market Village in Smyrna.

Due to construction on the Village Green, layout and placement will be different this year.

The festival will feature over 175 arts and crafts booths, 20 food booths, an entertainment stage and a variety of children's activities. Peter Hart of Atlanta Puppetry will have musical and comical performances with unique marionettes and puppet characters that sing, dance, juggle, play fiddle, break apart and come back together, squirt water and are even launched by catapult across the stage.

Scott Thompson of Peachtree Station will perform on the Veteran's Memorial Grand Lawn adjacent to the Spring Jonquil Food Court. Participants can bring a blanket and sing-a-long. There will also be an interactive kids zone with a wide variety of inflatable slides, a Rockwall and bounces.

New this year is the Georgia Grown Member Market highlighting goods and products from all over the state of Georgia.

Admission to the festival is free.
