A new 35-lot subdivision has been approved for Germantown.

On Dec. 5, the Germantown Village Board approved a final subdivision plat for Heritage Park North, which will be on a 33-acre parcel east of Division Road and north of Revere Lane.

According to village documents, the average lot size will be about 20,571 square feet, or 0.47 acre. There will be access to the subdivision from Division Road to the west, Larkspur Lane and Bittersweet Trail to the north, and Gunflint Trail to the east.

"It is an exciting development," said Village Administrator Steven Kreklow. "It is a great project because it takes advantage of the other infrastructure (such as sewer and water)."

The village is waiting for a letter of no objection from the state Department of Administration, according to village documents. This letter is expected soon.

Construction is expected to start this spring.
