The PGO emphasized that these numbers are not final, as establishing concrete data in active war zones and occupied territories is incredibly difficult.

Currently, the highest amount of injuries among children were recorded in following oblasts: Donetsk Oblast - 371, Kharkiv - 197, Kyiv - 116, Chernihiv - 68, Luhansk - 61, Mykolaiv - 58, Kherson - 55, Zaporizhzhia - 40.

The PGO also reported that, due to the shelling of Chornobaivka in Kherson Oblast, a young boy was injured, and a 13-year-old boy was injured as a result of the shelling of Mykolaiv on Aug. 5.

On March 22, a six-year-old boy was mortally wounded as a result of shelling in the city of Izyum, Kharkiv Oblast.

On June 21, as a result of shelling of Mali Prohody in Kharkiv Oblast, a 12-year-old boy perished after sustaining grevious injury.
