Netflix's controversial film 365 Days dropped its sequel, This Day, back in April. And after it was a hit with viewers, fans are now gearing up for the release of the third instalment. The big news is that we've just been treated to some juicy content from the streaming platform, which means we'll hopefully be revisiting Laura and Massimo's story sooner than we think. (Fingers crossed.)

So far, here's everything we know about 365 Days 3, aka The Next 365 Days, from plot to release date and when it was confirmed.

Is there a trailer?

Don't panic, but a trailer for film number three has *just* dropped on Netflix, and it looks just as dramatic (if not more) than the first two. The new instalment is set to pick up where the last one ended, so it means we'll find out straight away whether Laura made it through after she was shot.

When was The Next 365 Days confirmed?

In May 2021, Netflix announced both the second and third movies would be filmed back-to-back from May to June 2021, which was good news for fans, as it meant we wouldn't have to wait years to find out what happens next.

Łukasz Kluskiewicz, Content Acquisition Manager of Netflix films for CEE & Poland said at the time, "365 Days was one of our most popular films for our members in 2020. We're working closely with Blanka Lipinska, the author of the 365 Days trilogy of books and writer of the film, to continue Laura and Massimo's story on screen. Their journey together is full of many twists and turns as our characters continue to grow and learn more about themselves."

What might The Next 365 Days be about?

The original film divided opinion thanks to its divisive plot, which saw a mafia member Massimo kidnap sales director Laura and keep her hostage for a year (365 days) in an attempt to make her fall in love with him.

In the sequel 365 Days: This Day, Laura and Massimo (played by Anna-Maria Sieklucka and Michele Morrone) attempted to live a normal life following inter-mafia conflict, when another man began bidding for her affection.

So, what could happen in the third movie? It's based on the book The Next 365 Days, and the official synopsis reads: "As the wife of Don Massimo Torricelli, one of the most dangerous Mafia bosses in Sicily, Laura's life is a roller coaster. She is often at risk, the potential target of Massimo's unscrupulous enemies who will stop at nothing to destroy the powerful man.

"And when Laura is seriously injured in an attack, pregnant and fighting to survive, Massimo faces the toughest decision of his life. What will his life be without Laura? Will he be able to raise their child alone? What will the fate of his family be, and whose 365 days may come to a close?"

Who will be cast in The Next 365 Days?

The official Netflix announcement revealed Part 3 will see the return of cast Michele Morrone and Anna-Maria Sieklucka, who play Massimo and Laura, joined by Magdalena Lamparska and Otar Saralidze. Simone Susinna will play new character, Nacho.

IMDb's synopsis reads: "Laura and Massimo's relationship hangs in the balance as they try to overcome trust issues and jealousy while a tenacious Nacho works to push them apart."
