Here are 37 wrestlers to watch at the WIAA boys and girls state tournament

The WIAA individual state boys wrestling tournament is Thursday through Saturday at the Kohl Center in Madison, with prelims beginning at 3 p.m. Thursday.

The girls state tournament is being held at the Kohl Center for the first time and will run concurrently, with their prelims also starting at 3 p.m.

Division 2 and 3 quarterfinals begin around 11 a.m. Friday. Semifinals in all three boys divisions and girls start at 7 p.m. Friday. Championship matches are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Here's 37 wrestlers in the Appleton, Oshkosh and Fond du Lac area to watch across all divisions and genders.

Division 1

Brock Arndt, jr., Appleton North (30-1): Ranked No. 2 at 220 pounds. Finished third at 195 in 2022. Will face Milwaukee Lutheran's Jonte Watt (26-6) in opening match.

Greyson Clark, sr., Kaukauna (44-0): Three-time defending state champion is the top-ranked wrestler at 138. Won state titles at 138 (2022), 126 (2021) and 106 (2020). Will face Wilmot's Logan Defillippo (35-9) in opening match.

Liam Crook, fr., Kaukauna (41-4): Second-ranked at 160. Will face Wisconsin Rapids' Bennett Weidman (43-11) in opening round.

Judah Hammen, sr., Kaukauna (37-9): Second-ranked at 170. Will face Reedsburg's Devin Judd (37-12) in prelim.

Wyatt Skebba, sr., Hortonville (37-1): Top-ranked wrestler in his weight class by Wisconsin Grappler online. Was state runner-up at 113 in 2022 and 106 in 2021. Will face Pulaski's Broc Ambrosius (21-12) in prelim.

Jake Stoffel, jr., Appleton North (40-1): Top-ranked wrestler at 152. Placed third at 132 in 2022. Will face Oak Creek's Jackson Villarreal (30-14) in prelim.
