390 Coronavirus Cases, 53 Deaths: Latest Hillsborough Update

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough is reporting a total of 390 confirmed cases and 53 deaths of the coronavirus as of Friday.

Of the positive coronavirus cases, 193 have recovered, according to the township.

Here is the age breakdown of confirmed cases in Hillsborough:

  • 4 - age 0 to 9
  • 8 - age 10 to 19
  • 34 - age 20 to 29
  • 26 - age 30 to 39
  • 50 - age 40 to 49
  • 69 - age 50 to 59
  • 58 - age 60 to 69
  • 34 - age 70 to 79
  • 57 - age 80 to 89
  • 48 - age 90 to 99
  • 2 - age 100+

Of the total deaths the overall age range is 40 to over 100 years of age. Here is the age breakdown for the 53 people who have died from the coronavirus:

  • 2 were between 40 and 49
  • 12 were between 70 and 79
  • 22 were between 80 to 89
  • 16 were between 90 to 99
  • 1 was over 100

Somerset County has a total of 4,736 cases and 433 deaths as of Friday, according to the state. Franklin Township is the hardest hit in the county with 1,253 cases and 125 deaths followed by Bridgewater and Bernards Township in terms of death rate.

Here is a look at the entire county's coronavirus numbers, according to Somerset County Health Department. (Note that Somerset County reported totals may differ from town's own numbers because of reporting times and other variations.)

  • Bedminster Township: 39 cases (5 deaths)
  • Bernards Township: 271 cases (46 deaths)
  • Bernardsville Borough: 63 cases (2 deaths)
  • Bound Brook Borough: 324 cases (13 deaths)
  • Branchburg Township: 83 cases (3 deaths)
  • Bridgewater Township: 467 cases (65 deaths)
  • Far Hills Borough: 3 cases (0 deaths)
  • Franklin Township: 1,253 cases (125 deaths)
  • Green Brook Township: 134 cases (30 deaths)
  • Hillsborough Township: 370 cases (52 deaths)
  • Manville Borough: 149 cases (5 deaths)
  • Millstone Borough: 3 cases (0 deaths)
  • Montgomery Township: 106 cases (6 deaths)
  • North Plainfield Borough: 321 cases (34 deaths)
  • Peapack-Gladstone Borough: 40 cases (1 death)
  • Raritan Borough: 115 cases (11 deaths)
  • Rocky Hills Borough: 5 cases (0 deaths)
  • Somerville Borough: 137 cases (6 deaths)
  • South Bound Brook Borough: 66 cases (3 deaths)
  • Warren Township: 131 cases (13 deaths)
  • Watchung Borough: 84 cases (15 deaths)

  • Libraries can do curbside pickup
  • Beauty salons can open on June 22
  • Barber shops can open on June 22
  • Cosmetology shops can open on June 22
  • Day and medical spas (not steam rooms, saunas or shared bathing facilities) can open on June 22
  • Electrology facilities can open on June 22
  • Hair-braiding shops can open on June 22
  • Massage parlors can open on June 22
  • Nail salons can open on June 22
  • Tanning salons can open on June 22
  • Tattoo parlors can open on June 22
