4 arrested on suspicion of DUI, 11 vehicles impounded during checkpoint on Panama Lane
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Police made four arrests for DUI during a checkpoint Friday night in southwest Bakersfield, the department said.
The checkpoint took place on May 3 in the 6900 block of Panama Lane from 6 p.m. to 12:40 a.m.
The Bakersfield Police Department said officers arrested four motorists on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. Two of those drivers had previous arrests, according to police.

Thirteen drivers were cited for driving without a license while four were cited for driving on a suspended license. Eleven vehicles were impounded during the checkpoint.
Officers screened a total of 1,381 vehicles, officials said in a release.
Anyone who sees a possible driver under the influence is asked to call 911.
