First on the list is Mariel. Located at 10 Post Office Square (between Water and Milk streets) downtown, the Cuban spot is the highest-rated Caribbean restaurant in Boston, boasting four stars out of 144 reviews on Yelp.
2. Only One Jamaican Restaurant
Next up is Mattapan's Only One Jamaican Restaurant, situated at 160 Norfolk St. (between Edson Street and Milton Avenue). With four stars out of 77 reviews on Yelp, the Caribbean and traditional American spot has proved to be a local favorite.
South End's Orinoco, located at 477 Shawmut Ave. (between Cumston Place and Deblois Street), is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the Caribbean and Venezuelan spot four stars out of 591 reviews.
