4 Hells Angels gang members arrested after July shooting in Sacramento County

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office participated in an operation this week to arrest four alleged Bay Area motorcycle gang members accused of shooting at a man three times in Carmichael, seizing more than $100,000 in cash in the process, authorities said.

The victim, who was 36 when shot and wearing a bulletproof vest, was shot in July in Fair Oaks and survived. San Francisco Hells Angels Motorcycle Club gang members reportedly shot the victim, who sheriff’s deputies said was part of a rival gang.

Gang suppression unit detectives, SWAT teams from the FBI and Daly City and corrections officers executed search warrants in seven different locations to arrest four people, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office. Their search also recovered 15 firearms, about $112,000 in cash and Hells Angels “intelligence documents,” sheriff’s officials said.

The suspects were booked on suspicion of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, shooting at an occupied vehicle, conspiracy with gangs and a gang enhancement, the news release added.

They are due in Sacramento Superior Court Friday for their arraignment.
