4 must-see games involving the Bills in 2021

The 2021 Buffalo Bills season will be among the team’s most anticipated in team history in quite a long time.

After a trip to the AFC title game last season and the NFL’s recent schedule release… everyone is feeling a little hyped up about what’s about to come right now. Unfortunately we still have awhile to go until the games will actually be played.

But in preparation for the season to come and if you have to pinpoint a few games that you just can’t miss? We’re here to help.

These four Bills game should fall under the “must-see” category in 2021:

AFC Championship game, you say? That was between the Bills and the Chiefs, the last time we saw Buffalo's boys on the field. That alone makes this game a must see. But, there's more. The Chiefs beat the Bills in the regular season as well, plus Buffalo's offseason work over the past few weeks, such as improving the pass rush, has essentially put the crosshairs on Kansas City this year.

Off the bat, the Bills and Titans might be two teams jockeying for playoff positioning in the AFC toward the end of the regular season. Having this head-to-head win in their back-pocket might be big for the Bills. But again, we have a deeper reasoning. You can bet Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott is going to remind his team about losing against the Titans last year. In a trip to Tennessee, the Bills were blown out on a national stage. However, the Bills were at a bit of a disadvantage because the Titans had COVID-19 cases push kickoff back to a Tuesday. The Bills just looked out of synch that day and revenge could be the mantra heading into Week 6 in 2021.

Back to the postseason that was... but this time a Bills win. Buffalo hosted the Indianapolis Colts in the Wild Card round last season and while it's a bit of a different team in 2021, this should be a great contest. This is, as long as Carson Wentz plays well enough under center. The Colts sport a solid defense, which is why the Bills nearly were beaten by them in the playoffs. It was only a 27-24 game. Of course there's the Frank Reich storyline here as well via Indy's coach.

The Super Bowl all of Buffalo wanted a few months back will arrive in Week 14. Almost literally though, because that game was also at the Buccaneers' home stadium. Naturally, many can recognize why this would top the list for the Bills. Measuring stick? Can't get a better one than the defending champs. Plus, facing Tom Brady & Co.

Bonus: Home vs. Football Team, Texans

Remember these guys? Our bonus "must see" might be early in the year when the Bills host the Football Team and then Texans in back-to-back games. As of now, this is borderline. That's because the cards have to fall the right way, but if they do, we'll have quarterbacks Ryan Fitzpatrick and Tyrod Taylor potentially starting against the Bills. Those two make these "must-see" games because of off the field. On it, the Bills should handle both teams and win, but both guys deserve a warm welcome back to Orchard Park if they're starting. Fitz and Tyrod still aren't for sure going to be starting as of now.
