A 4-Year-Old Accused Prince Harry of Being an Imposter; His Reaction Was Priceless
To the little boy at St. Vincent's Catholic Primary School who called out Prince Harry for being a royal imposter: Fear not, we all make mistakes.
Here's what went down. Yesterday, while the Duke of Sussex made the rounds greeting kids on the playground as part of his official visit, a four-year-old student wasn't convinced the prince was the real deal, according to teaching assistant Philomena Frattura, as reported by People. So, he did what any four-year-old without a filter would do. He tapped Prince Harry on his shoulder and asked: “When is Prince Harry coming?” Direct and to the point.
Harry's reply? “But I'm Prince Harry.”
The boy still wasn't convinced, so he repeated his question: “When is the real Prince Harry coming?”
So, Harry tried to confirm his identity again: “I'm the real Harry. I've just had my hair cut for the occasion.” LOL.
It took a bit of persuading, says Frattura, but eventually the little boy came around and realized he was, in fact, talking to the prince. His reward? A high five from the duke.
But here's where we're on the same page as the little guy: To him, no crown = no prince (at least that's how the school's learning mentor Diane Redmond described it).
Does this mean Harry should wear more bling during official visits? Yes, please.
