4 people hospitalized as firefighters battle blaze at Olathe home Saturday
Four people were hospitalized Saturday morning when a home caught fire in Olathe, officials said.
Firefighters were called to a house fire at about 8:15 a.m. in the 1000 block of North Clinton Street on Saturday, said Capt. Mike Hall, a spokesman for the Olathe Fire Department.
There, firefighters found “significant fire conditions,” officials said.
The four residents inside the home who were hospitalized — three adults and one teenager — were last known to be in stable condition, Hall said.
As of early Saturday afternoon, Hall said that the cause of the fire was still under investigation. A damage estimate was not yet available, though the home did have “significant damage.”
