PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — Brooklynites will soon have another reason to support the neighborhood's restaurants as they rebound from the coronavirus crisis.
Dine In Park Slope — a two-week event featuring discounts at the neighborhoods restaurants — is set to return for its third year on Aug. 17, organizers have announced.
About 40 eateries have signed on to offer diners free food, drinks and discounts on their menus.
Dine In Park Slope was first introduced as a response to NYC Restaurant Week, which only featured a few Brooklyn spots among its hundreds of restaurant deals. It is organized by business improvement districts on Fifth Avenue and North Flatbush, along with the Park Slope Chamber of Commerce and Chow Now.
"From August 17-28th 2020, we invite you to support local business, discover an eatery you’ve never tried, and explore the diverse Park Slope food scene along 5th, 7th, and North Flatbush Avenues and beyond," organizers wrote.
