43rd annual St. George Art Festival set to return for Easter weekend
The St. George Art Festival is back this April and will take over downtown on Easter weekend.
This will be the 43rd annual St. George Art Festival and will be held on April 15 and 16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Historic Town Square.
“This is truly a can’t-miss event,” said Community Arts Manager Emily Reed. “You have a juried fine art show with over 100 artists — many who return annually — to display and sell their creations. You have the Kids Creation Station, chock full of budding artists trying their hand at many different types of art projects. You have a wide variety of delicious food — and don't forget entertainment lasting the whole day.”
Attendees will have a variety of food truck options at the event as well as a children's area for families. St. George Races will also have its Art-Attack 1-mile run for the first time this year on April 16 at 8 a.m.
This year's featured artists are Dianne and Doug Adams, who create recycled, sculptured bells sold all over the world.
“This annual event is one of our city’s crown jewels and is among the finest festivals in our part of the country,” said Dannielle Larkin, a member of the St. George City Council. “It’s like walking into an outdoor museum. Once you have seen it, you’ll want to make sure you attend each year.”
