46th annual Northern Michigan Gospel Festival set for Aug. 4-5

BOYNE FALLS — The 46th annual Northern Michigan Gospel Festival will take place from 5-10 p.m. on Aug. 4 and 5 at the Northern Michigan Antique Flywheelers grounds on U.S. 131 near Boyne Falls.

Performing on Friday night are: The Foresters from Nashville, The Maendel Family from Petoskey, The Thurstons from Holt, The Walkers from Petoskey, Gloria Lynne from Atlanta, and The Paul Family Bluegrass Band from the U.P.

Performing on Saturday night are: Souls Harbor, The Maendel Family, Chosen, The Thurstons, Blended Hart, and The Calvary Heirs from Kentucky.

Each night ends with all groups on stage singing together.

There will be concessions and a Kids Korner with activities.

There is no admission charge. There are free will offerings each night.

Camping with limited electric (no AC) is $30 for the weekend. Camping is only for those attending the festival.
