  • Eva Longoria, 47, posted an Instagram photo of her epically toned abs and legs this weekend.

  • The Desperate Housewives star attributes her strong and sculpted physique to trampolining and strength training with heavy weights.

  • No matter what's in store for the day, Eva likes to fit in a workout. It helps her mental health, she said.

Eva Longoria is certainly enjoying some sunshine in a little yellow bikini on Instagram. As she lounges in the sun, her leg muscles glimmer while her toned core shows everyone she's still as strong and sculpted as ever.

The Devious Maids producer was seriously taking the whole mermaid look to a whole new level, as she relaxed poolside in her Bari bikini from Melissa Odabash.

Melissa herself left a comment singing Eva's praises: "Seriously that body 👙👙👙🔥🔥🔥🔥," she said. I'd have to agree with her.

Eva's many fans echoed the compliment in their own comments on the post: "A goddess," said one, while another added, "Like fine wine... absolutely stunning masterpiece 🔥🔥🔥🔥."

Eva is best known for her role as Gabrielle Solis on ABC's Desperate Housewives, for which she was nominated for both a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award. Oh, and she's also a co-founder of Casa Del Sol Tequila, which she enjoys posting about on Instagram.

Now, back to those toned abs. Eva works out for an hour every day, she told Women's Health. “I really work out for my mental health,” she said. Keeping her body moving helps to both keep her zoned out and forces her to take a breather from her busy schedule.

She chooses to bounce as her primary form of exercise. And by that, I mean on the trampoline. "Ironically, bouncing on this trampoline is low impact, so you get a sweaty workout without all the pounding on your knees,” she told WH in regards to her JumpSport Rebounder trampoline.

Brb, adding to cart immediately.

Eva claims the light jumping can even helps with lymphatic drainage, which minimizes fatigue and fluid retention. (Gua Sha, anyone?)

She jumps on her trampoline for roughly 30 to 45 minutes every day, and then transitions to strength training, where she focuses on weight training. “I do very heavy weights,” Eva told WH, and it definitely makes a difference!

To balance things out, when she's not jumping up and down on the tramp, she enjoys a yoga sesh and going for walks. Whatever the activity, however busy the day, Eva must stay active, she explained. "Even if it’s just stretching, I need to do something.”

You're a dream, Eva!
