4Front Credit Union opens in former Holland, Zeeland TCF branches

HOLLAND TWP. — Two of the buildings vacated along the lakeshore following the TCF Bank and Huntington Bank merger have been filled by Traverse City-based 4Front Credit Union.

The credit union announced it would add three new branches in West Michigan in April 2022, according to the Grand Rapids Business Journal — located at 281 Seminole Road in Muskegon, 177 N. River Ave. in Holland Township and 9581 Riley Street in Zeeland.

The Holland and Zeeland locations held ribbon cutting ceremonies with the Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, Feb. 16. The former TCF branches have been remodeled to match the 4Front brand.

“We refer to them as the branches of the future because they will feature our VideoTeller system not only in the drive-thru lanes but also inside the branches,” 4Front CEO Andy Kempf told the GRBJ in 2022. “Member-facing technology has always been a top priority for 4Front as we continuously strive to provide a convenient and personalized member experience.”

4Front was founded in 1954 and serves over 95,000 members in Michigan.
